6" subwoofers?

Has anybody on the board experimented with 6 " subs? JL and Focal make some 6" subs that are suppose to kick pretty good down to 50Hz. I'm just wondering if 4 of these would do the trick? I was thinking of removing the storage box between the back seat and the rear deck and making a box to hole 4. There would actually be a good amount of CU' there for them.

I have an 11" Focal in the rear deck now, if I eliminated that and installed 3 or four of the JL's as previously stated for Classic Rock, do you think it would work or would I be kicking myself?

How many do you think that I would need to blend properly with my front and rear Focals. The front and rear have some range, but I have the rears passed at 90 to help push the stge to the front.
