Alpine iXA-W404

Just bought the Alpine iXA-W404 so it will be here in a few days. In addition to the head unit is Infinity Reference speakers in the front doors. I havent decided on a sub/amp yet so I am just going to run the wires and cover them until I'm ready.
I will have pics up as soon as possible. I would think no later than Jan 8th or 9th.

Let me know how you like the alpine head unit. I almost bought one a few days ago but couldn't find one to play around with or anyone that had one

For those of you that don't know what this unit is, here is a few pics. It's going to look pretty sweet in a HHR.

No it does not flip. It is a digital media receiver. It does not have an optical drive. You can use your Ipod for music and video, plug in a external hardrive or thumb-drive, and regular radio. It all is stealth so my Ipod and harddrive will be in the glovebox. And if you want, you can add Satellite radio , HD radio, GPS, camera, and bluetooth

No doubt somewhere in the future you'll be buying download time instead of an actual disc and disc's will be eliminated like the previous media units .Walk in with flash card , insert correct coinage and make selections.....hmmmm....maybe I shouldn't have mentioned this.....

ehh, at least the ipod will be around the life of my headunit/HHR so it will satisfy me. It was shipped out yesterday so I will have it middle of this week. The only thing holding me up is the harness that I had to order. It wont be here untill after I get my head unit.
The rest of the install parts I have, so as soon as the harrness arrives I will install that day.
