There $500 for a couple more days at your local dealer I believe. I just picked mine up last month.

 

How do you like it? and are you running external amplifiers for your speakers, i am currently not. I plan on it but i am trying to build the sytem in phases.

 

Havent gotten that far yet. I will be running all external amplifiers with mine, 3- way active with a center channel and a rear sub. Should sound amazing. Ill post up a build log when I do.

 

What type of 3 way are you running or going to run? I am trying to stick brand specific, so I have looked into Alpine's F1 3-way components. I'm not really to familiar with 3ways, the most I have ever delt with were Type-R components. What 5 channel amp are you planning on using, and where in the dash are you planning on installing that speaker?

 

I'm going with several different brands. I'm going to be running 2 4ch amplifiers, plus the sub amp. I will have a Planar Transducer for the Highs, PA Mid for the Midrange and a dedicated midbass driver. As far as center I will run a 5 1/4" Full range driver in the center console compartment on the dash.
