Bazooka

Any thoughts on the Bazooka tube-type subs? I've been looking at these for years and wondered how well they perform. I don't want the kind of ride that you can hear 50 miles away, but I just want some more bass out of the system.

A friend had a bazooka sub in his Z-71 before he sold it (Z-71). It was an early Panasonic woofer, and it sounded pretty good.

Go for it!

Bazooka's RULE!!! You will love it. They sound awesome even for their size. I had one in my Z-71 and it cranked it out. I removed it when I got rid of the truck for my HHR. I want to put it in there but not sure where that won't restrict my cargo too much.

Bazooka makes crappy equipment. Bass tubes are cool but Bazooka as a brand sucks.

Obviously, you got a no name brand. Bazooka's are quality, great sounding subwoofers.

Odd assumption. I'm basing my statements on past experiences in buddies cars. They always seemed to have problems and sounded like crap. That's why I've never trusted them in one of my rides and why I haven't known anyone to use them since the early to mid 90's. Maybe their quality has improved over the years but they used to be junk.

Hmmm...well, with a four-to-one vote, I think I can safely purchase one and if it sucks balls I can always dump it in the classifieds...
