Bluetooth issue

My 2011 HHR comes with Bluetooth, and I have no problem connecting to it or making phones calls, but for some reason when I'm using it to make a call, the other person has a really hard time trying to hear what I'm saying due to my Bluetooth. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

You can down load a owners manual here. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/general-hhr-4/online-owners-manual-3074/

Phone ONLY bluetooth. It is in the manual, but stated sort of obliquely.

You do realize that the little microphone is up at the top center windshield edge? If not, try directing your voice up there.

Yup. Even if I talk louder, the person is still unable to make out what I say.

I did find a tsb about blackberry problems but you aren't using a blackberry. I'm sorry I'm not going to be much help. That's all I had.
