Bluetooth streaming audio from stock stereo?

I'm looking at a 2011 HHR LT it has the Panasonic (?) head unit and it appears to have bluetooth since there's a phone icon on the steering wheel, my question is does this stereo allow you to stream audio?

Here is a picture of the head unit.

The most you'll be able to find is USB and 3.5mm from our stock decks. Perhaps more with an unlocked deck from a similar vehicle. It's not that hard to add an aftermarket deck. Just a bit pricey for the adapter kit to retain chimes and/or OnStar.

You don't need a module if you don't care about chimes. But you will need a module for the steering wheel controls.

Personally I prefer the 3.5mm to my phone over Bluetooth. When I upgrade the SS I won't bother with the deck. Just an LOC and some amps.

Interesting that it has bluetooth but no streaming.

I wonder if I can use usb for streaming audio and bluetooth for the phone?

Bluetooth is "phone only". The jack does audio streaming. You only have BT if the car ha OnStar installed, no need for active subscription just the module.
Free Owner Manual link in my sig. It is in there.

Is the transition "seamless"? If I'm listening to audio and a call comes in will most phones automatically go to bluetooth?

Thanks for the link.

Yes. If you have your phone paired up to the BT in the radio.
