Bluetooth/USB Stereo system

I want the 09 System with BT and USB in my 08, damn it! How can this be done.

Trade your 08 for an 09 if you want a GM system. If not you would have to go aftermarket.

There's gotta be some way to do it. Where is the Bluetooth module located? In the stereo itself or outside of it.

It's part of the onstar module and an 09 module won't work in an 08.

can you just get the usb radio without the bluetooth? just wondering? same connectors on the back of 07-08 radio?

Now what if I do find an after market stereo. I would still want the stock one hooked up somewhere else in the car for all the other features it has. Maybe even use it as a 6 disc changer. Is this possible? And, how would it be done?

You just run new power, antenna, and speaker wires to the new stereo depending on where you put it.

It's a lot easier just to get one of those visor-clip Bluetooth boxes and a cheap MP3 player with a headphone jack. A lot less expensive too.
