Ok so I finished the install of my upgraded HHR radio and the PAL, and the stereo seems much quieter than the base model radio. Now is this there and amp for the front interior speakers? I also have the rear subwoofer/amp and wiring. Will I be able to install this into a car with base trim? And does the amp on the sub have anthing to do with the front speakers?

Yes the amp is actually 5 channels, 4 doors plus the sub. You would have to wire it all up though, the diagrams are posted here somewhere.
The factory amp is only about 45 watts per channel though, less than most aftermarket ones.
