Contiplating on putting in a couple of 10's

I am having an itch to install some type of subs in the hhr.... but room is a must, I have 2 kids ... sports....cheer....choir....basketball....football ... you get the picture... anyways, I need to keep the room so I am thinking of making some type of fiberglass enclosures that fit into the rear window area in the back part of the hhr... has anyone tried this b4? If so ... any pictures?

I have 2 10"s, amps etc, my concern was also with the room, my seats fold up normal, and still have the top shelf free. just an option, Todd (Uma), Check out my pics, just click on the camara symbol under my name

here is how i did mine. i can still get to everything under the box. you could do the rear window thing but mine was pretty easy. put a sturdy grille over the speaker and recess it and it will be fine.
come check it out saturday.

I been considering this as well. I just havent had the funds to attempt this. I have the half panel and that was one of the first things I thought of. Hoping to tackle this soon but with a wedding coming up might not be for awhile. If you accomplish this let me know.

The thing Im wondering is if there is enough metal inner panel there to secure something that heavy.

there is enough strength there to attach it to. you can see it in the pic i posted. it just probably would be a good place to put something that vibrates like a sub. enough sound deadening can fix that though.

cover it in leather if you put it in the windows.
