I have a 2009 HHR LS, base radio. I have seen people saying components and then some having coax's. I haven't taken door panels off yet, is there an easy way to know what speakers are in the doors? Trying to figure out what kind of new door speakers to buy.

 

Do you have tweeters in the a piller

 

They all have tweeters in the pillars...and unless the door speakers have been changed they are standard type mid/ full range speakers. LS came with the cheapies unless custom ordered .

 

Ok I have what I assume is tweeters in the pillar, what do you guys recommend? Components or coax's? Anyone know the size of the tweeter in the pillar? If coax should I leave the tweeter connected?

Of course right now this all depends on me coming up with some extra cash...
