Front polyglass 165v1

great alternative to our polyglass is the Phoenix Gold RSD Components. run about $90 shipped off of ebay.

Since the tweeters are in the A pillars on the premium systems, are the Premium stock door speakers bass only, or are they a bass/tweeter combo?

Just 5 days ago I paid for aftermarket Pionner speakers to be installed to the
factory stereo and there is NO CHANGE at all. The installer told me there is
no out-put power from factory stereo. So save your pennys and blood pressure too!

I had heartz energy installed and it made a world of difference off the 'premium' hu. Installer went the extra mile and put in dynamat and deflex pads behind the cones though.... the clarity was absolutly no comparison to the stock toilet-paper cones. He probably spent 2hrs tweaking the crossovers too... I couldn't have had my car sounding that good with half a day apart in the driveway. But the dynamat and deflex alone was about $200... more than many have spent on their speakers. That's the kind of 'extras' that really make it shine... if the job's worth doing, it's worth doing right the first time

I just replaced my door speakers with rockford fosgate and added a eclipse amp off the factory head unit. World of difference. The head unit may not have the power, but if you go out of the head unit to a amp then to the speakers you should be able to gain quite a bit.

I Purchased Inifinity Reference Speakers From Crutchfield For A Great Price On The Four. They Sound Great But, They Don't Produce A Hard Bass Like With A Subwoofer. I Haven't Found A Sub That I Don't Have To Splice The Wires And I Am Afraid This Might Mess Up The Warranty On The Car. P.s. Don't Buy The Baffles Crutchfield Recommends It Makes Them Soud A Little Muffled When Cranked Up. Wsnbrud
