A good place to put an amplifier

I was wondering if anyone had a good suggestion where to put an amp?

I've got mine mounted on a plywood board, cut so it doesn't slide around, under the cargo shelf.

That would depend on the dimensions of the amplifier. Some have one under the passenger seat, behind the panel in the back and the aforementioned spare tire area under the parcel shelve.

I've been contemplating this myself. I'll have 2 amps to mount in the spring.

If I do add an amp and sub/subs it will go in the back well where that ridiculous donut goes.

I always take out the "compact spare" and jack because I do not want to trust my life to those tiny things, even if I had a mind to get out and change the damn thing myself.
It also "adds lightness" so it improves fuel economy and performance. I have always gone with road service that covers all tows and just get a flatbed to come out and take me to my tire guys.

As a mechanic, I can't do that in good conscience, pay someone to do something I know how to do, haha. But, I may make a tray using the 2 JL 8" subs I have, or the one 10" Solo baric. We'll see in the spring.
