Hi guys, hey got a weird question. Thought I would give it a shot in here, if noone knows I will take it to avic411.com. Installed an Avic D3 in my 06 HHR, and used a gmos-lan-04, which is the correct one. Everything works great, the unit dims when the auto headlamps come on, but heres the problem. When I turn the high beams on, the unit goes back to day mode. Any ideas? Oh, and when I turn the high beams back to low beams it goes right back into nightmode where its suppose to be.

 

At least your lan-04 was good. I got a bad one and am having problems returning it.

 

as a former installer, thats why i hard wired. the first gen of these harnesses has gone awry. no matter the manufacturer

 

yea, i used the adapter for the steering wheel controls and after driving for a bit the volume up and track up on the wheel stop working.turn the ign. to assesory they work fine...im also using a avic-d3
