Hi how is everyone I need some advice I am trying to figure out where I need to install my green parking brake wire that is from the back of my clarion lcd dvd player is there and how to's on this please let me no

 

I have an Alpine and shop installed a togle switch and a push button so I do not need to apply parking brake to watch dvd's. If you do hook it up to the parking brake no watching dvds on the go. I am sure quest will chime in, he usually does

 

I have an Alpine ivaw200 and have by passed the "safety" system. There are two wires,one that goes to the brake pedal the other to the parking brake. When you bypass you don`t need to actually use the two brakes just two toggle switches. One,the brake I believe,goes to a constant + wire. the parking brake goes to a constant - wire. Toggle the switches in the same pattern that you would the two brakes and the system is bypassed and your watching TV. Yours may be different on wiring but the bypass work on the same principal. Just figure what kind of wire your supposed to got to and find a similar wire closer to the radio.

 

two options...hard to tell because you didnt give a specific model.
#1. Ground that wire to the radio ground wire and see if it plays a video.

#2. if it doesnt, you will need this module which bypasses many decks like Alpine, Valor, Clarions etc...
