just shopping around and found this one... does anyone have any opinons on this JVC or any other JVC?

ah, the AVX1. Nice little HU, but you'd be better off getting the AVX2.

Both nice looking hu's (too small a screen for my taste). Fuctionality wise also looks to be good.

Yeah the AVX1 only has 4:3 aspect ratio (something to consider).

The AVX2 is switchable to widescreen or letterbox as well.
