Hello Guys,

I was looking at my local craigslist ads and I notice a guy that selling a double deck stereo that he claims it handles 6 discs. His HHR was a 2007.

How do I know if my stereo can also take 6 discs?

The pic that he had in his ad looks like my stereo.

I would think it would have it written on the front somewhere. Or at least that's the case with my wife's ride. Single slot, six-disc, double-DIN...and it says 6-Disc right on the face of the unit. Make him send you a pic for verification.

Maybe I am wrong, but I have to agree with ya'. That looks exactly like every other HHR head unit. I don't see anything that indicates "6 disc".

If you look at the larger image, on the left side of the disc slot, the button says LOAD. So it MAY actually be a 6'er

 

Yeah I compared mine and mine has a picture of a clock... The guy in Craigslist is advestising something wrong then.,.Cause his show a picture of a clock also...

Weird..

I guess the only way to find out is try to push in 6 disc and see how it goes..

Yup you got it, the 6 disc has a "LOAD" button, so the ad is wrong.

 

That is correct, that radio on craigslist is not a 6 disc. You gotta watch those Dallas sellers.
