ipod connector release date?

ipod connector release date?

Hi all,
Wondering when the ipod connector that lets you use you steering controls with your ipod going to be release.
I haven't heard of anything on it.

It was originally announced as an October release, but a few of us have checked and our parts departments haven't found it yet.We've been keeping track here...

I spoke to a friend who works with the release engineers and they say it will still be a couple of weeks as they are having supplier constraints related to the licensing of the Apple connector interface.

release date

i got my hhr serviced last week and asked the parts dept about it. they said they could order one for me and have it in 2 or 3 days. $125 plus whatever installation costs.

Because some of us do not like Ipod. I can plug my MP3 into the aux, or anything else you want to use.
