Keyless Entry Pad

Has anyone ever seen a keyless entry number pad for an HHR?

I hid one on my Nissan Titan in the fuel door. It was small and thin and stuck to the inside of the fuel door with two sided tape.

It came in handy when I was out running (and did not want to carry keys, so I would lock them in the car).

Thanks!

I'm interested in learning. What is a "Keyless Entry" pad?

Any pics and description?

You know, a numbered keypad like you have for your garage door openers sometimes... Also, Ford had them on their Explorers and Expeditions right on the drivers door for years.

No, I don't think I have ever seen a aftermarket one though...

You got it twistrman! That's why I want one. I really got used to it on my old Nissan.

It depends on how much you would use something like this, but I have been using a magnetic Hide-a-key for my motorhome for years. 3 for 5 bucks and you don't have to drill the door panel to run the wiring.

I believe the unit mentioned in the link above is "wireless" so there is no drilling - only the connection of wires inside the vehicle.
