Thumbs up List Your 8" Sub !!

What subwoofers did everyone get to replace the stock 8 incher? I have a 400W RMS mono Infinity Beta Series amp sitting around

I am looking at a Pioneer TS-SW841D and also the Sony XS-L82P5. The Pioneer is 125 W RMS with a mounting depth of only 2.5"! I suspect it will deliver much deeper bass than cramming a larger sub like the Sony. Oh and the local discount hi-fi dude said something about Earthquake SWS.

...maybe it'd be better to mount a 10" in the spare tire dugout... hmmm...

After some explanation from captain howdy (thanks), the only thing I have left to think about is the 8" sub and what brand drill I should buy to get everything mounted properly Hopefully I'll get a chance to post some pics of the new ride and the solution I come up with for the sub / amp.

Looks nice, but how can you put anything in the back of the car? You will either block the sound or crush the speakers.

8" audibahn for when I need the space in back for hauling. This 8" sounds real nice, nothing like the box, but much better than the factory 8"!

Just a quick switch of plugs, turn down the amp and I'm ready to go!
