locked radio ? need codes or help

Hi Yall. I sold my oem radio to a Cobalt owner and he says the radio says ''locked'' when he connected it and it won't work?
Anything i can do ?

Give him the proper info from your vehicle the VIN # then he'll need to go to dealership to have them use their scanner to unlock the radio
