Low audio in Rain or Fog

Hi, I'm new and haven't seen my question before and am sorry if it's here, but here goes:

My 2006 HHR, when it is raining, or if I'm driving and it's foggy, will lose subwoofer audio. After 2 days of sun, it clears up and sounds brand new, like nothing's wrong!

There is no water in the floorboards, or inside the door. Everything else runs normally.

Please advise. Thanks in advance for reading!

Possibly corrosion on the amp plug behind the panel? Extra moisture makes it wet and cut out? I would start there.

First I have heard of this too BTW.

I would still check the "butyl patch".

My guess is that you have moisture getting in to the door speakers.

Unless:
By "subwoofer audio" do you mean you have a Premium or after-market radio?
