Need suggestions on routing sub wires

Sup guys.

If you check my images you can see my amp rack.

I want to route the wires from the amp to probably the stock 8" sub hole cover. I figure i will probably end up trying an 8" sub in there eventually an a terminal box wont look so bad.

That way when i want to use the cargo area, i can just push or unscrew the terminal box and pull the box out.

Now i have the "shelf" completely removed as you can see, so im thinking of just drilling a hole in the side and then routing the wires up.

I would also like some suggestions on high end terminal boxes. I dont like the ones available for car audio. Ive come across some nice home audio stuff and they seem to be geared towards classy and sleek designs, compared to the cheap quality of car audio ones.
