This is how I run wires

So I've completed stage one of the stereo install. I had to remove a thing or two during the process. The connector on the driver's door was considerably different than the rest of them, and since I was upgrading the speaker wires, I had to get in there.

Taking the door off made things amazingly less complicated. You'll need a 10mm socket for the 4 bolts that hold the door to the hinges. The nice thing about the bolts is that they have a shank to them so alignment wasn't an issue when I reinstalled the door. I just wish I had removed the other 3 doors when I fished the new speaker wire into them. The underside of the dash was too cluttered on the driver's side so I couldn't get my hands in there to pull the wire.
