Anyone know what these two wires are for

Anyone know what these two wires are for
I figured I better post this here in case someone does not see it on my other
posts of issues with limp mode on my hhr
I happened to notice this the blue wire and gray wire appear to have tape on them.
i thought maybe this was from when they attached the vacuum pump add on
but after reading the instrucions on adding the vaccum pump it does not look like this side is used for the wiring.

You are on to something, mine dont have that. I think robbSSturbo has been in there and might know something about that harness. he is on facebook hhrss owners, and turbohhr.com. I would ask him. Have you traced where they go ?

No. Not yet
I am wondering if previous dealer got in there by mistake.
When I bought this car it was perfect under the hood I am pretty sure I would have caught this.

bigjack - pm me your email address, and I can send you a wiring diagram that might help.

Does not look like an "official" GM repair. They are generally much neater.

Curiosity would get the better of me - I'd have to take those apart and eyeball them to see how they are spliced (soldered or not?). Shrinkwrap would definitely be on the list to tidy that up.

Ya I hear ya
I was checking around for anything odd and when I pulled back the
Hard plastic I was surprised to see the cheap tape
Now with the wiring diagram I can at least see why someone was in there I am still guessing its due to when they either installed electric vacuum pump or when they put in gmtu and had trouble activating the pump since thhey entered wrong code.
At least the new dealer I can trust

looks like a false alarm
checked very carefully and the tape was just there not sure for what reason. almost as if they had taped two wires together for identification at some point.
