That looks very nice and clean, also like the use of the factory sub location so it doesnt look out of place.

I also need to make my spare easier to get to, just in case. I have plans for that later...

Is there only one amp running all the speakers? Or is it pushing the sub solo? What are you running for the head unit?

I only have one amp it is an Audison LRx 6.9 6 channel 70 watts to each speaker set @4ohm and about 480 to the sub. I have an Eclipse CD7000 HU.

Nice looking rig Joe What exactly is in the rear sub spot? It looks like the sub amp. I'm sure it sounds great. Maybe I should go with one down firing 10 as well?

We are doing a stealth version in our HHR. Amps under the seats, and a new panel such as yours with two tens firing up in the rear compartment area close to where your amp is located. I want the subs closer to the rear seat so more of the cargo area floor is open to having stuff put on it without interfering with the sound.

Then the rear cargo mat is getting cut so the area under the subs can be covered or uncovered while the rest has the rug. We use the car as a family vehicle so utility first in out case. I'd love to do a showy one, but not in our current car. Last week I had a bunch of 5 gallon water bottles, this week Katy's bike and the stock muffler are back there. I just put on the Imco and while I'm deciding whether to keep it or not, the old stock muffler rides in the cargo area.

THanks for the pictures. eep on modding

Where did you put spare. Your set up is awesome, but do you have any pics of under the sub, so we can see how you kept your spare.

thanks

The spare is still under there.......matter of fact there is a little fold down leg that holds everything up in the event of a flat. That way there is no disconnecting of the sub or amps, and you are not trying to hold everything up while you remove the spare and tools.

I don't have any pics of this, but the next time I get in there I will snap and post.

thanks. I am building a similar box and was wondering how you did it. If you can get some pics it would be great. Is your box all MDF or is it fiberglass and MDF
