Old system

I haven't posted on here in quite some time. Ive had soooo many systems in and out of the HHR over the time. I actually traded it off also, got me a Silverado BUT looking to get another HHR again, miss it too much!

Here is one install I had in it.

This was 2 18" Sundown Audio Z v.2 powered by Sundown Audio SAZ-4500D

It managed to do a 153 @ 40Hz sealed on the dash with about 3200 watts clamped. It wasn't made to be a meter queen anyway lol It was pretty violent. Tore the car up and then some.

Here is another install I had

Again, same equipment. Did a 153.5 @ 37hz off 3200 watts clamped also. It really needed a larger port. Subs barely moved.

Now my latest system that I tore out.

Consisted of 2 18" Sundown Audio NightShade v.2 powered by 2 Sundown Audio SAZ-3500 Strapped at 1ohm. It managed a 153.5 at 30hz with the meter on the center of windshield (quieter by 2dB than on the dash.) It was mean and moved lots of air. The 140 you see in the video is my Xtreme run which is where the meter is on a stand 13" outside the passenger window centered from the bottom part of the window. 140dB was the top in my class for that but in eliminations I was having sub problems and lost and managed 3rd place :-/ But I took 1st in Loud-N-Low.

I am now in the market looking for a new HHR Panel :) Probably this summer

Thanks! Hope to top that one. There's another guy on the TC Sounds Forums doing 3 18s in his HHR.

I'm glad people see the potential I see in the HHR as far as getting loud. Perfect car for a system in my opinion.

heres my wall as of currently. i havent had any other setups in mine other than 2 10" entry level powerbass subs on 300w, and it got loud for what it was. im (was) pimpedout97x on SMD, and orangecounty1 on CA.com, you've prally seen me post before (i have the blacked out walled Mini cooper too that i never finished lol)

but heres my hhr- donno what ima run for subs yet, or how many, but its gonna be a 4th order wall most likely.

I remember you. That site has taken a huge turn in to a hole but I'll stop talking about that lol Your Mini was pretty sick! My first was wall the one with all the tape was 13 cubes after all displacements and my second wall, the orange one was 10 cubes after all displacements and the inside of the shell was around 20 cubes. I had lotsaport and tuned loww :)

The tape on that wall was what I was gunna use to fiberglass over but ripped it out before I got to that stage lol

My next HHR will have a 4th order Already have it all designed :-P

Oh DC Power alt do make 320A for the 2.2L. I have one and it was a mean powerhouse!

But you should do like 4 18s or something lol
