The performance of the Personal Audio Link for the HHR was pretty poor when it was first introduced, if I remember correctly. (Please, correct me if I am wrong.)

Have the later revisions improved in this regard. I'd like to hear the opinions of current owners, good or bad (the opinions, not the owners).

In '07 and '08 there were lots of problems and they were slow if you had a lot of data on your ipod. I have not heard of anyone installing them any more, especially after the radios started coming with USB ports.

I had one and really had no problems in my '07. My son loved it. But when I sold it to a member he didn't like it because he couldn't get enough volume out of due to his after market sub, if I remember right.
