First mod, first post.

I had this unit in one of my other cars, but glare was bad (convertible), so the HHR was a good candidate. Navigation, radio, CD, bluetooth. Works pretty well for an inexpensive unit. Includes AUX input and USB, I ran cables to the center dash compartment. USB supports Ipod, but also just plays MP3 files off drive.

Installed with Scosche GM13SR module to keep chimes and turn signal sounds. I was a bit wary since I didn't find anything about it on here, but it actually works really well. A good choice if you don't have (or want) Onstar.

Also use Scosche faceplate GM1599B and antenna adapter CRAB.

 

Just put one in my wife's 2005 Saturn Vue! Was considering putting it in my 09 HHR but all the harnesses and all discouraged me from doing it. I do want to keep onstar.

 

I have the Pioneer 4200DVD and had the usb cable routed to the same spot. Very convenient in long drives!

Sweet would like one of those 7" ones just have to rough it with my garmin till I get that far down the wish list.

 

Do the radio controls on the steering wheel still work?
