Polk

I just ordered new speakers to repace my 8 year old and now blown Rockford Fosgate ones. I picked Polk separate db6501 for the front and db651 for the rear. I plan on installing the crossover in the back, using the factory wire for the door (damn bus connectors) and running new wires for the tweeters since the factory did not run separate wires for them to the back.

Any opinions on these speakers? The reviews were great, but I would like to hear from you. They will be driven by my MTX amp at 70 watts per channel and combined with my Infinity Kappa 10 inch sub powered by a 400 watt Alpine amp.

Polk is great stuff. They never put out substandard product just to get market share. Matt Polk got into the industry simply because he loves music, and there is a level of pride at Polk you will not find in many other brands.

Give the Polks a listen, and if you like 'em I say go for it!
