Mine doesn't. I tapped it off the main 50a line to the center console fusebox and can now play my tunes with the doors open and no key in while detailing. I also disconnected the chimes and no longer have to hear the seatbelt clicker, lights on, door open, or seat belt chimes.

Man, am I a HAPPY CAMPER!

ok all issues were resolved today other than me forgetting to order the antenna adaptor from SoCal when I ordered my dash kit(SoCal you really should have a bundle for that ) the XM works the unit slides all the way in(it was the RCA cables coming out), and the unit doesn't randomly mute itself(from my previous installation a zip tie was on the mute wire and it had and worn the cable down)...

but anyway so if I did wanna wire it so that when the car turns off the radio turns off how would I do that?
