BTW i think some kind of foam tape should go around the door skins, looks like a prime area to rattle.
Iam going to try to fit the speaker with in the flange,like so...
using a dremel .

Wow I actually believe this is one of the easiest cars that I have worked on...Well you should look forward to installing an amp, you can't beat installing an amp and having the battery in the back

They did if you have a 2LT or the premium system.

this is my third car audio install, the last two cars were a piece O' cake.
there was zero cutting or drilling.aftermarket speakers and HU's fit without hassle even for the sub and amp.
last cars = a six pack of beer to do audio system.
HHR =a two four and a bottle of whiskey
