I know the cruise controls and dic still work, but the radio controls need an adapter. Same with the chimes, but I don't know if the chimes adapter is made yet

Can someone explain to me why remotes were created for car stereos? Has the modern era gotten so lazy they can't move their hand over a few FREAKIN' INCHES TO TURN ON A FREAKIN' RADIO??

So you be pimp and controll the stereo from outside the vehicle. Most of the people I know that have installed aftermarket head units with remotes keep them sitting right on their lap so they can hit mute when a cop passes. There are lots of thing you can put on a remote to be pimp, like neon lights and doors.

You can get a harness to interface the the steering wheel control so you can still use them. It's not a big deal to make it work.

The remote also comes in handy when your in the back of the car trying to tune your system..
