I like the way Wheelsee threw in that SAFETY factor!! lol I'm with you Txman, old school, don't see a need for one, however the last two I bought aftermarket came with the remotes and I never used them... Just another bell or whistle for marketing I think...

My son likes to control the music from the back seat with the remote. (Which I dont care for, but hes the boss).

i only use aremote bcuz my wifey doesnt like me to fiddle with the radio so i can sit back nd fiddle with radio all i want if i have a remote plus i used it for tuning makes it easy,
