Replacing stock speakers.

What size are the factory premium speakers? And if I replace them with better say JL or infinity speakers will the sound be clearer and more crisp?

6 1/2" Just replaced my front ones with kickers and I can tell a difference but since I don't have 4 put in there's not a huge difference since i can still hear the back ones.

I changed mine to MB Quart, sounds great, but I changed the head unit to a Alpine, 900bt that probably helped too.

Go to Crutchfield.com put in your car they will list all the speakers that will fit your HHR. Look at the price that you want to spend. It will also tell you all you need for a plug & play install. Look at how to's ect. Very easy !
