Single LED light

I have mounted a Varad LED light and used the IGN harness (yellow wire) and hooked the constant 12V to the positive post on the fuse box, and grounded on the strut tower bolt. Simple enough but when I try to remote start the stock alarm activates and the horn blows then the car shuts itself off. Also there is a nasty click when Ignition is turned off. Can anyone help me??

Thanks

No its just a single LED for theft deterrent.

If you used the ignition harness its the brown wire.I asked yesterday and hooked up my remote wire for my amp with no problems.

Would the brown wire be used as a ignition grounded when engine is off?

The brown is the acc power and you ground somewhere to the body.

I was lead to believe if you are hooking up a singe led you are supposed to hook a capacitor up to the one line and a resistor up to the other line but I could be wrong. I have never personally installed LED lights in any of my rides and everyone else I know that has lights on their rides use neon.
