some small details

I have almost finished my aftermarket HU intall, A pioneer deck and cerwin vega speakers.
so far the system works, heres my problem.
the pioneer has a red acc wire and a heavier yellow positive wire,
if i hook the yellow and red acc the the hhr's red/white positive ,i have to shut the HU off manually.(not what i want)

what i want is either key out or acc off and the radio will go off. ( i just know i will turn the radio volume down and forget to turn it off) so heres the q's

do i run the red acc wire to fuse 21?
i also ran the HU negative to the body, (works well)
what about the factory negative? just leave it ?
And i guess all the left over wires are the chimes etc?

BTW i am not using any harnesses, just hardwiring.

Go with the fuse for Acc. Not only will it turn off your HU like you want, but it will work like the OEM radio and will leave the HU on until the doors are opened, which I think is the best thing since sliced bread

The factory ground is worthless, stick with the body ground.

Join the club with the extra OEM wires just hanging around...

If you can, take some pics! You gave me some nineties flashbacks mentioning the C.V. speakers!
