I don't think so but I could be proven wrong. You have the XM unit, OnStar, and the gas tank tube on the other side.

I am interested. Even a good built in enclosure for an 8 inch could work-I had a nice box in the trunk of my Saturn with an 8 inch and got good bass. In the HHR it would be even better since it is in the passanger compartment.

But I would gladly use a 10 inch if it fits without sacrificing storage space

ok just got off the phone with the buildhouse thats building my subs. we are going to have the XSL10 in dvc2 and dvc4 ohms (XSL10d2/XSL10d4) so this way you guys can use the factory amplifier or an aftermarket amplifier. also working on some 8'' subs too.
