Stock sub help

I'm wanting to hook the factory pioneer sub to my aftermarket amp. Do I tie the two red wires together along with the two black ones coming from the speaker into my amp? I don't like experimenting with things and I sure don't want to fry everything.

The sub is a dual 2 ohm sub run in stereo mode. I forget which ones are which as far as the wires go but there are schematics on this forum or you can use an ohm meter to figure which two wires are for each coil.

Truthfully, I wouldn't put that stock "sub" to an aftermarket amp. I've seen so many of them fry due to overpowering. IMHO, grab yourself a small sub & enclosure that will suit your needs.
