Does anyone know if the panle in the rear of 2009 HHR is for a sub and does it have the wiring in place or ???

If you dont have the subwoofer 7 speaker system, then it does not have the wiring, amp or speaker grille. You would be better off getting aftermarket parts. Some have bought the factory sub box and modified it fit a more powerful sub and amp, but it still doesnt come close to a full size box.
