Ok, the system is coming together slowly but surely. Here are the first two pics:



These two pics are of the amp rack I'm in the process of building. The MDF is cut to shape and all components are mounted. Next step is to drill the holes for the wire, apply the black vinyl, grommets/bushings, and connect wire.

How thick of a board are you using for the amp rack?

The rack is 1/4" MDF.

It's being raised up by rubber door handle stops and rubber feet. (so the wires can run underneath)

This is exactly what I want to do.

Where did you get the vinyl and the bushings?

How did you install the vinyl?

How did you make it level?

I also thought about re-doing the entire shelf with MDF but that seems a bit more tricky since it has different levels (especially in the back)

The reason this is such a great idea is that everything is hidden and not easily accessible
