The disc "antenna" will not necessarily have a name on it. Just look for wires and follow them. Because these devices are so expense, ($200 to $500 plus) if it's still there they may pay you a recovery fee. You will have to do some research to see who the origanal owner was, then contact them. Or the GPS tracking service provider may be labeled on the device. Either way the pieces are simple to remove. Just scrape the disc off the windshield with a wide blade putty knife, don't pry you might crack the windshield. The wiring to the unit is most likely just 3 wires. Hot, igination and ground, and the unit usually is mounted near the steering column with wire ties....I know all this because I am a field service tech for one of these companies...... PM me if you have any questions.

Hi to all , got out there before the snow today and pulled some cover's off , ,it's very easy to get from the roof to the dash in these cars , followed the 2 wires and wound up by the fuse panel , where I found this black rectangle box with 2 light's flashing , not at the same time ,and that has a name on it , Cal Amp the wires say GPS and GSM on them , it has it's own inline fuse, the car was off and they were flashing so its on all the time , it has a bunch of #'s on it, p/n , fcc,, OK the big ? , what is it ,, thanks .

Here is a possible answer:

Looks like the past owner monitored your vehicle as to location. Delivery vehicle?

That's what OnStar is for. Ever wonder why the government bought GM and not Chrylser? Because all GM cars come equipped with ONStar.
