More on GM Black-tie Radio's

BTW, the 6cd unit I installed was from a Pontiac Solstice. Cool car, but.....
the dash lights, ergo the radio lights are RED and my HHR is Blue/Green. Sooooo....

I discovered that the faceplate is a modular piece held on with 4 small phillips head screws and are swapable radio to radio. So I did it and now my dash looks Factory!! The only thing different is the 6-cd unit has a "Load" button in the location of the "Clock" button on a single CD radio. Not to worry, the "clock" button now funtions as my "Load" button!! Oh yeah, the Clock button is now a "soft" button under the "Menu". Cool. I now have a "Stealth 6-cd Changer". Ha Ha!!
