Next day at work before I left for home, went and refreshed and it came on before I made it a 1/4 mile down the road. Hope this helps.

You beat me to this. I did, in fact, do this and everything is working properly. It just pisses me off to no end that XM couldn't do this for me. All they said was the service was operational and that I could have a bad XM Unit. Stupid F'ing people.

 That's why I discontinued my service; if they couldn't help me the first time, they probably won't be able to help me down the line. They told me it was my service, too, and (as stated in my earlier post) I did absolutely nothing and the service came back on its own after a few days. At the end of that month, I discontinued the service. When I logged on to XM's website and they asked for a reason for discontinuing the service, I simly put "sucky customer service / inability to get what I paid in advance for".

I don't think they know what "sucky" means in India... ;)

Maybe they should move their customer service call centers to Viet Nam; from watching military training movies in the 80's, they appear to know what 'sucky' means there......... "Me love you long time".....

Heck, get both! I do :)
Seriously, or is that Siriusly, if you are interested in Sirius, check out http://www.siriusbackstage.com. Best forum for all things Sirius. Course, maybe I'm a bit biased, as I'm a mod over there, but still. ;)

I spend some time on that forum. Not a whole lot. But I did get a lot of info when I was researching the S-50. I also used the info there for my previous (Civic) and current (HHR) install. That's the best forum I know for Sirius 411. I just happened to spend too much time on this forum so I don't post a whole lot on backstage...

Hey Joker, where did you place your S-50 receiver?

BTW...I'm convinced the S-50 is the best satellite radio receiver on the market...My :2cents:
