Aftermarket rear shock?

Has anyone replaced their rear shocks yet. I have the Eibach pro kit installed and the rear seems a bit soft/ bouncy. I would like to replace the rear OEM shock with something more firm. Any suggestions. Thanks

Technically, the Koni shocks out now are for Cobalts, so there isn't really anything specifically for the HHR. I've thought about getting them several times, but the ridiculous price always stops me.

Supposedly, a couple companies are developing struts and shocks for the HHR, but they seem to be falling through...

You should install some lowering shocks, like DJMs.

I have the touring suspension, any one know prices on the gas charged struts and shocks the sport suspension uses. notice the front right strut had a leak when i installed my GL's so they're going to need to be replaced soon.
Would like to Do it with the gas charged but haven't checked into it yet.

Ridiculous price? I think 600 bucks is a small price to pay for some of the reputably best struts on the market. I paid the same price for the Koni's on my MR2 and the ride quality difference compared to the high end Tokicos I had previously was amazing. Not to mention they have a no questions asked lifetime warranty..

Koni is a well known HUGE company and you don't have to worry about them going under anytime soon like some smaller companys. If I ever have to replace my struts I will defiantly be going their route rather then some sears or midas cheapies i'll have to replace in another 2 years.

To me, it's simply not worth paying that much for shocks to put on an HHR.
