I see several participants on this website that own motorcycles. My question is do any of you pull your motorcycle on a trailer behind your HHR. I am trying to figure out the best way to go in order to do this safely in regards to my HHR and my motorcycle. Are any of you guys using a special made motorcycle trailer such as a Trailer in a Bag or Kendon motorcycle trailer or did you get a small 5X8 or 5X10 flat trailer to haul your trailer. Also how well does the HHR handle towing your motorcycle. Thanks in advance.

 

I have towed my 82 aspencade in a 5x8 u-haul trailer and towed my harley in one of their motorcycle trailers and no problems. I use a u-haul hitch with a 4" drop flipped to give me 18 inch ball height. I have the 2.4 and have plenty of power and got 28+ mpg from Bullhead city to L.A. and back towing. I bought mine to tow my drag bike to the races. Should I show mine hooked to my 18 ft jet boat that I also pull locally?
