No difference between the two, but 267 shipped is a good price. I think I did 80x2 for my struts and 30x2 for my rear shocks with free ship so 220 shipped for the KYBs. Last I saw they were shipping out YYZ springs for 309 shipped late this summer. Springs you really have to do your research on because each brand lowers at different heights and ride quality and performance are quite different as well. Fortunately for me the KYBs at the four corners and the Eibach pro-springs with the front and rear sways and hardware did wonders for me.

According to whom? Do you have technical data on this claim? An overwhelming member response to this claim? A personal experience with both set-ups? What exactly makes them better, IYO?

Wow...have you umm, checked the shock/strut availability sheets for these cars? Not a whole lot of choices unless you want to spend big bucks for a car that is used to get groceries.....and as a matter of fact I have 2 HHRS and played the comparison game ,with the "normal" priced shocks...If your referring to the Konis..they are great shocks, purpose built, for purpose built cars, or for bragging rights, choice is yours. I stand by the FE5's are the better of the "stock street" setups..for the price. The KYB's are NOT the same as FE5's.. and are only about 10=15 % better then the FE3's...AND they work quite well with lowering springs.

Well I put the FE5's on last night. I just stuck with the stock spings for now. I'm still waiting to hear back from John on a quote for the YYZ-V1's. I can always swap them out later if I want. It's winter anyways so ground (snow) clearance is always good. I took it out for a short spin so only time will tell for sure but I think it was a good choice. They are firmer than the old FE3's that were in there but not too firm. The shocks in the back seemed to have a life left but the struts in the front were pretty gone. Wife hasn't driven it yet so we'll see what she thinks.

i have the KYB's on mine for the last 120,000 miles and they are in my opinion better than the fe3 that came on my 2lt panel. And i carry a thousand pounds of freight in mine on a regular basis as well as pull a trailer. glad i have 200,000 miles on it cause they would cancel my warranty

Can I join the " I hate my tires club" ?

I bought goodyear assurance Triple tread all season P225/50r17 last fall and absolutley hate them! The look cool and are 9" wide at the tread but ride like I have no springs at all.

The panel rode pretty decent with the original firehawks but hydroplaned bad!

Now I have a noise from the rear I can't find when I go over RR tracks or rough road.Even took the Turbo tech sway bar off and lubed the rear hatch latch and didn't help.

I think I'll try the YYZV-1 springs next. But gotta get the Tune done first...

Just curious if you know the gross weight of the trailer loaded that you are pulling around ?

Also what brand hitch are you using.

Thanks,
SF

silverfox the trailer weighs 712 pounds empty. But i fill it with everything you see in the picture
tent 95lbs, table chairs and 10 cases of golf grips at 23 lbs ea. plus 48 lbs of grip solution and double edge tape.
Trailer originally is for camping inside would be queen size bed and the back is for the kitchen
I use it for Grip demo days as I am the Regional sales manager for a grip company. Plus own another company where we make grip solutions and epoxies and distribute double edge tape .
