Brake fix tsb 09-05-22-001a

Need help with old problem. Just bought 2008 HHR ss, braking hard at startup. I found out that I needed to use the Tsb 09-05-22-001 brake fix.
I found a list for all the parts needed, but I'm still looking for a how to procedure. My main concern is mu not knowing if there's any separate wiring I must do.
Can anyone tell me where to find GM installation procedure, it may have already been posted, but after nearly two days I cannot find it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the site.

There may not be a printed step by step available online. This repair was done at the dealerships thru GM. Might be worth a try to talk to your local dealer and see if they can find something for you.

Also. Could be incorrect on this, but I seem to remember it also involves a reflash of the computer after the vacuum assist pump is installed ?

You might try sending a PM to LT1GMC. He has a kit for sale. He may be able to assist the install.

Good find rlee63a4.

It appears that steps 39 and 40 do state that a ECM reprogram is needed.
