Cobalt SS springs and not any lower?

I just installed part number 25821162, '08-09 Cobalt SS/TC rear springs on my 2010 LT. My before was 28.5" at the top of the fender, after installing them I am now at 29" at the top of the fender. Any suggestions? I installed the tighter coil end on the top, encase you were wondering. Do they really settle that much?

I am confident they are the OEM springs, they have the tag on them and I purchased the car used from a Enterprise Rental. I am really confused as to why no drop, plus I was looking forward to a leveled stance.

You should have gotten a 3/4" - 1-1/8" drop. Sounds like you installed them correctly...not sure why you went the other direction with them.

Have you driven it? When I did mine the same happened, they didn't seat all the way till I went over a couple speed bumps.

Drove it around the neighborhood. Maybe I will go hit some speed bumps. Good to know I am not the only one who had this happen.

I don't think they are fully seated.. Mine dropped it 1" & after they settled,
I'm down 1-1/4" on the cobalt SS/TC springs (part number you listed)..

Same here. Mine was hardly any lower at first but I did get around a one inch drop after they settled.

Id say maybe a week to fully settle. It dropped in a day or two.
