Does the HHR have FE2 or FE3 suspension?

Does the HHR have FE2 or FE3 suspension?

How do I tell which suspension my 08 2LT has on it? FE2 or FE3?

Open the glove box, there's a sticker on the inside of the door. Most of what's on it is the RPO (build) codes. Look for an FE1, FE2, or FE3 code (although I don't think there is such a thing as FE2).

For the HHR there is FE1, FE3, and FE5 but FE5 is stock on the SS ony. There is such a thingas FE2 as my Saturn Ion is FE2.

I could be wrong on this but I believe the FE1 is on the LS (for sure) and the LT1 pkg while the LT2 comes standard with the FE3

I was looking into some control arm I know mine are fe3 but I see their is some control arms that are made from aluminum what's the difference? Any info would be great

FE1 and FE3 control arms have different size ball joint pins then the FE5 some after market companies offer steel lower control arms, the factory arms a cast aluminum so that is the deal
