Eibach pro kit

Hi,

does anyone has a technical sheet on the eibach pro kit which includes e.g.
- permissible axle loads for the front spring version
- permissible axle loads for the rear spring version

I need that information to install the Eibach kit on my hhr which is registered in Germany.
To have my car checked by a technical supervisory association, which is a law in Germany if you do any changes to your car, I need an official information about the max. axle loads on the eibach pro kit (Partnumber 3899.140).

Please can someone here help me out?

I've already contacted Eibach in California to provide me with such info. Now I'm waiting for some feedback.

But maybe one of the forum members can help me too.

Thaks in advance and greetings from Berlin

Which spring kit are you asking about ? Posting the kit or part number would help in getting the correct specs.

Fwiw. You had another post asking about the German version of Eibachs. If that's the one you're looking for specs about, I doubt anyone here would have that info.
Your best bet is to get the specs from the manufacturer.

I posted the Partnumber in my first thread, which is Eibach part#3899.140
USD$ 341.10

PRO-KIT Performance Springs (Set of 4 Springs)

# 3899.140

Front: 1.0 in
Rear: 1.6 in
More Info...
And yes, I am the one asking about the german version of the eibach kit. But since its discontinued I will have no chance to get it.
So I want to buy the US version and to have it build in my hhr the legal way I need to have the asked infos about axle loads to get the OK from the german technical supervisory association.

Thanks HHRFan

Sorry if I missed the part number in your 1st post.

This quote from your other thread has me confused.
"So i cannot just put in the us version of the kit, its illegal here."

You really should just wait till Eibach gives you the specs. Trying to get unofficial specs from some forum member isn't going to help you with the German inspection folks.

So finally i hold a official Paper from eibach uk that confirms the permitted axle loads

Theres only one thing that confuses me.
The eibach pro Kit partnumber is 3899.140, but in the letter they Talk about partnumbers 3899.001 and 3899.002 can it be that these numbers actually written on the springs themselves? 3899.001 Front? 3899.002 rear?

Can some member please tell me the exact partnumbers which are written on each spring of the eibach pro Kit?

I have another Post asking alot of stuff about fe5 Parts, but since the eibach solution seems to work out for me id rather go for the eibach Kit because it will lower my hhr a bit more.

Tanks

I need to know before i order it from the us.
